Bosque Nuboso El Cocora, San Ramon, Alajuela, Costa Rica – part 1

Hummingbird | Colibries Garden north of San Ramon

This is an amasing place for photographers. Also called Mariposario El Cocora since they also feed and raise butterflies here. Since it rained more or less all the time we were here, not many butterflies.

Below you can see images of:

  • Crowned Woodnymph |  Zafiro coroniazul (Violet-crowned Woodnymph ) - Thalurania colombica venusta
  • Coppery-headed Emerald | Esmeralda capirotada - Microchera cupreiceps (Elvira cupreiceps)

For more Hummingbirds see Part 2 with Green-crowned brilliant, Hermit, and Rufous-tailed Hummingbird.
